Job summary

New Relic, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to act as a trusted advisor to customers, leading strategic engagements that demand deep technical and business acumen.

You will guide observability transformations, collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Marketing, and help expand adoption of the New Relic platform across multiple segments. You will specialize in design and best practice implementation, developing reference architectures and blogs, and supporting executive-level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in at least one language (Java, Python, or Golang).
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and OSS like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, or Grafana Labs.
• Understanding of Incident Management and SLI/SLO approaches.
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering service delivery.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprint engagements with sales and technical success teams to guide customers on observability goals with the New Relic platform.
• Document current and desired state of observability and design solutions to close gaps.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to accelerate transformation and observability maturity.
• Create artifacts like reference architectures, technical blogs, conference talks, and field repositories.
• Continuously improve technical and communication skills through training and mentorship.
