Job summary

New Relic, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to guide customers through observability transformations using the New Relic platform.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to design and implement strategic engagements that demonstrate business value and technical excellence. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in software or tech consulting, strong open telemetry and cloud-native experience, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and practitioners

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and OSS like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with observability platforms (New Relic, Splunk, DataDog, etc.).
• Understanding of incident management and SLI/SLOs.
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless).
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprint engagements with sales and success teams to map observability goals to the New Relic platform.
• Document current and target observability states and design gap-closing solutions.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to accelerate transformation.
• Create artifacts like reference architectures, technical blogs, and conference presentations.
• Continuously develop technical, communication, and leadership skills.
