Job summary

New Relic is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding observability transformations and go-to-market engagements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of professional experience developing in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience and functional understanding of OpenTelemetry standards and other OSS such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience in observability with New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, Dynatrace, Grafana Labs, or other observability platforms.
• Understanding of Service Level measurement approaches (SLI/SLO).
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering service delivery disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Presentation and communication skills at both technical and executive levels.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and customer interactions to anticipate and guide their needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the customer organization, from executive to developer/practitioner level.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluations via POC/POV and SA workshops.
• Regularly visit customer offices to align with objectives.
• Build relationships with key contacts for large Net ACR deals.
• Accelerate transformation and observability maturity for customers.
• Engage on-site and remotely in technical consulting during sales cycles.
• Document current and desired observability state; design solutions.
• Map business outcomes to observability capabilities.
• Create reference architectures, blogs, talks, and field resources.
• Pursue continuous self-improvement and mentorship.
