Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor in Charleston, SC to drive new home sales by leveraging Realtor relationships and buyer connections. You will utilize CRM tools to manage leads, schedule showings, and coordinate with lenders and title companies through construction and closing.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, effective presentations, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, within Meritage's sales-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience; 1+ year in new home sales preferred with proven success.
• Real estate license may be required in some states.
• Good computer skills; proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Generate new home sales by leveraging Realtor and buyer relationships, demonstrating value, and closing.
• Maintain and cultivate Realtor partnerships for long-term business.
• Present models, homes, and pricing information to prospective buyers; schedule showings.
• Manage customer relationships using CRM to implement discovery and follow-up strategies.
• Coordinate with design studios, lenders, and title companies; assist buyers through construction and closing.
• Provide excellent customer service, stay updated on community features, pricing, and policies.
• Solicit new and referral business using Salesforce to drive sales activities.
