Job summary

Meritage Homes Corporation is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor in North Carolina to drive new home sales by leveraging Realtor and buyer relationships, delivering outstanding customer service, and coordinating with construction, closing, and title teams.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and CRM skills, with expectations to travel between Meritage communities and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing. A real estate license is optional in some states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Prefer at least 1 year of new home sales experience with a proven track record.
• Some states may require a real estate license; a plus in other states.
• Good computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals as directed by Sales Leader.
• Maintain and grow Realtor relationships to create long-term partnerships and recurring business.
• Connect unrepresented homebuyers with Realtors to facilitate the homebuying process.
• Ensure model homes and communities are presented well to provide a quality guest experience during tours.
• Develop and refine personal sales presentations to convert leads effectively.
• Utilize CRM to manage prospecting and follow-up strategies.
