Job summary

Meritage Homes in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Sales Associate to drive new home sales using MAS strategies, leveraging Realtor relationships, and delivering exceptional service to buyers. This role develops toward Sales Counselor through peer-led training and active mentorship.

You will manage prospecting, showings, and the purchase process, coordinate with mortgage and title teams, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the journey.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE South Carolina RE License required
• 3-5 years of experience with commissioned sales
• Computer proficient and ability to understand financial principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prospect, build relationships, and develop marketing strategies
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Embrace MAS philosophy to generate new home sales and close deals.
• Prospect for opportunities to influence agents and brokers within the DSA.
• Train and mentor to progress toward Sales Counselor role.
• Utilize CRM to manage prospecting and communications.
• Coordinate showings and model tours with Realtors and buyers.
• Present Purchase Agreement and explain terms to buyers.
• Ensure timely completion of buyer paperwork and coordination with mortgage/title.
• Visit agent offices to promote MAS and incentives.
• Maintain knowledge of communities, pricing, features, and local market trends.
