Job summary

Meritage Homes seeks an Outside Sales Counselor to generate new home sales by leveraging Realtor and buyer relationships and utilizing all available tools to demonstrate value, sell, and close homes with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.

The role also serves as a liaison between Realtors, new homebuyers, construction, the Closing Department, and the Title Company, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of guest experience while driving sales across communities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to meet sales and customer service goals.
• Maintain and cultivate Realtor relationships to drive business.
• Connect buyers with Realtors and guide them through the homebuying process.
• Leverage CRM to manage discovery and follow-up with potential customers.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals and other objectives set by Sales Leader.
• Maintain Realtor relationships to create long-term partnerships.
• Connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors and support the homebuying process.
• Ensure the look of communities and model homes is pristine for guest experience.
• Present purchase agreements, explain payments, taxes, and HOA details.
• Solicit new and referral business using Salesforce.com for prospecting.
