Job summary

Canon USA & Affiliates is seeking a New Business Development Advisor to drive direct and indirect sales, develop channel partnerships, and execute go-to-market strategies while incubating new solutions.

The role owns end-to-end sales with target accounts, recruits partners, designs referral and revenue-sharing models, gathers market insights for product planning, and represents Canon at events to grow pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify & Prospect Target Accounts to validate market fit and generate early demand
• Own the direct selling process from initial discovery and solution positioning through negotiation and contract execution
• Recruit & Enable Channel Partners and identify, onboard, and train referral partners, resellers, or systems integrators
• Develop partner models including referral fees, revenue sharing, and co-marketing programs to align partner incentives
• Gather Customer and market insights to product
• Conduct customer discovery conversations and on-site visits; abstract customer needs into actionable input for product development and roadmap planning
• Represent Canon at inventory events, conferences, and partner events to build pipeline and market visibility
• Monitor competitive activity, emerging channels, and event opportunities relevant to the solutions portfolio
• Source and manage external SME consultants and manage their contributions to accelerate solution readiness for go-to-market
