Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Planning to lead enterprise-level capacity and deployment planning across networks and markets. You will translate demand, performance, and strategy into executable plans, while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery against capital and accuracy targets.

The role requires 8+ years in network planning or related fields, with 3+ years in people leadership, plus strong analytics and executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in network planning, telecommunications, infrastructure strategy, engineering, operations, financial planning, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of formal people leadership experience, including responsibility for performance and development.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional portfolios with material capital, customer, operational, or strategic impact.
• Strong knowledge of network capacity planning, forecasting, infrastructure investment, project lifecycle, and operational risk management.
• Proven financial acumen including capital planning, business-case development, prioritization, forecasting, and variance management.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills and ability to present concise recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, priorities, and operating plans for a portfolio spanning capacity, modernization, optimization, and growth.
• Translate strategy, roadmaps, and forecasts into multi-year investment plans with defined outcomes.
• Drive integrated planning across network domains for end-to-end alignment and decisions.
• Establish governance and escalation paths with recommendations for senior leaders.
