Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Planning to lead enterprise-level capacity, investment, and deployment planning across technologies and markets. You will convert demand, performance, and strategy into prioritized plans, guiding a team to deliver measurable outcomes with executive visibility.

Remote role in the USA with a focus on cross-functional leadership, governance, and capital efficiency. Strong technical and financial acumen are essential to drive strategic investments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, CS, Business, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in network planning, telecommunications, infrastructure strategy, engineering, operations, or financial planning.
• 3+ years of formal people leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional portfolios with capital and operational impact.
• Strong knowledge of network capacity planning, forecasting, infrastructure investment, project lifecycle, and risk management.
• Proven financial acumen including capital planning, business-case development, forecasting, and variance management.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using analytics, dashboards, and planning tools to improve decisions.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver results across organizational boundaries.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategy for portfolio spanning capacity, modernization, optimization, and growth.
• Translate business strategy and demand forecasts into multi-year investment plans.
• Drive integrated planning across network domains for end-to-end alignment.
• Establish governance and escalation paths with senior leaders.
• Lead capital planning, forecasting, and variance management.
• Develop investment proposals with clear business rationale and financial impact.
• Partner with Finance and delivery teams to manage commitments and forecasts.
• Improve capital efficiency through optimization and architectural options.
• Convert planning decisions into executable projects with clear ownership.
• Lead cross-functional dependencies across engineering, procurement, operations, and vendors.
• Manage portfolio risk and issue management with mitigation plans.
• Measure network health and forecast quality to inform decisions.
• Champion data-driven planning with dashboards and automation.
• Represent Network Planning in executive reviews and investment discussions.
• Build stakeholder alignment and drive accountability.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and analysts.
• Align resources to strategic priorities and foster a culture of ownership.
