Qualifications

• Experience driving new business growth in a regional sales role.
• Ability to identify, qualify, and generate opportunities through prospecting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and CRM use.
• MS Office proficiency and basic CRM familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a Regional Sales Territory (Mid Market and National Accounts).
• Directly contact prospects by phone and email to generate opportunities with key decision makers.
• Collaborate with field teams through walks, events, and client meetings.
• Use consultative selling to position Cogent services for connectivity needs.
• Pursue monthly revenue goals across major commercial buildings and campuses.
