Job summary

Kemper is seeking a National Accounts Sales Executive to independently develop and manage strategic relationships with national agencies, brokers, and distribution partners. The role focuses on expanding Kemper Auto's growth in the P&C insurance market and supporting nonstandard auto and commercial vehicle products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive B2B sales, business development, agency management, or strategic account management, preferably within P&C insurance.
• Experience managing national or enterprise-level accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue or premium growth objectives.
• Experience developing strategic account plans, negotiating contracts, and managing complex opportunities.
• Established relationships with national agencies, brokers, carriers, or other insurance partners preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for national accounts and distribution partners to drive growth and long-term value.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers across agencies, brokers, carriers, and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships and partnerships.
• Lead complex business development initiatives, including negotiations and implementation.
• Set growth objectives, sales forecasts, and account strategies; monitor performance and profitability.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Finance, Operations, Marketing and other stakeholders to develop competitive, financially sound solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to partners, addressing issues and driving mutual growth.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Lead executive business reviews and partner meetings to strengthen relationships.
