Job summary

Kemper is seeking a National Accounts Sales Executive to grow and manage strategic relationships with national agencies, brokers, carriers, and distribution partners. The role drives revenue growth across large accounts and expands Kemper Auto's presence in the insurance market, including Private Passenger Auto and Commercial Vehicle offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in B2B sales, business development, agency management, or strategic account management in P&C insurance.
• Experience managing national or enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven revenue or premium growth track record.
• Experience developing strategic account plans and negotiating contracts.
• Established relationships with national agencies, brokers or carriers preferred.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across FL, TX, CO, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for national accounts and partners.
• Build executive relationships with decision-makers across agencies, brokers, and carriers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead complex business development initiatives including negotiations and implementation.
• Establish growth objectives, forecasts, and account strategies; monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Finance, Operations, Marketing to meet partner needs.
• Serve as trusted advisor to strategic partners and drive mutual growth opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
• Lead executive reviews, strategic presentations, and partner meetings.
• Represent Kemper at events to expand market presence and relationships.
