Job summary

Kemper seeks a National Accounts Sales Executive to drive growth with national agencies, brokers, carriers, and distribution partners. This role is remote across the United States and focuses on large, complex accounts in Auto and Private Passenger lines, with a strategic emphasis on private and commercial vehicles.

You will build executive relationships, lead negotiations, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver financially sound solutions and expand Kemper Auto’s market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years in B2B sales or strategic account management, preferably within P&C insurance.
• Experience managing national or enterprise-level accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for business meetings and events.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for national accounts and alternative distribution partners, driving growth and long-term value.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across national agencies, brokers, carriers, and strategic distribution partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding existing relationships and developing new strategic partnerships.
• Lead complex business development initiatives, including negotiations, implementation, and ongoing strategic relationship management.
• Establish growth objectives, sales forecasts, and account strategies; monitor performance, profitability, retention, and progress against goals.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to develop competitive, financially sound solutions that meet partner needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic partners, identifying business challenges and driving opportunities for mutual growth.
• Monitor industry trends and market developments to identify opportunities and inform strategies.
• Lead executive business reviews, strategic presentations, and partner meetings to strengthen relationships.
• Represent Kemper at industry events and strategic forums to expand market presence.
