Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Mid-West Regional Account Manager to grow new accounts and expand existing relationships with innovative, sustainable packaging solutions. You will lead the sales cycle, negotiate contracts, and partner with internal teams to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of manufacturing sales in the CPG sector, a proven sales record, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Packaging Engineering.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing sales experience in CPG or packaging.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Travel up to 60%.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key contacts and develop strong business relationships.
• Lead the sales cycle with design & development of packaging solutions.
• Prospect for opportunities and develop a sales plan using Plastipak’s CRM tool.
• Take the lead on contract negotiations and closing.
• Maintain partnerships and ensure continued value for customers.
• Oversee customer relationships including budgets, accruals, rebates, amortizations, and forecasting.
