Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Mid-West Regional Account Manager to cultivate new customer accounts and expand existing relationships. You will bring innovative packaging solutions to customers and drive the sales cycle end-to-end, collaborating with design and development teams.

You will lead negotiations, manage the customer relationship scope including budgets, accruals, rebates, amortizations, and forecasting. Expect up to 60% travel and a performance-based bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.
• Prior SAP experience is a plus.

• Engage with the right contacts and develop strong business relationships.
• Lead the sales cycle and collaborate with internal teams on packaging solutions.
• Prospect for new opportunities and develop a sales plan using Plastipak CRM.
