Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Mid-Market Sales professional in the United States to partner with growing businesses. You will drive new logos, sell Paychex Flex and advanced HR services, and build a robust pipeline through outbound activity.

You will lead consultative conversations with business owners and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close. The role requires 2–5 years of B2B sales, 2+ years in HCM, and a strong prospecting mindset.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional sales experience in B2B.
• 2+ years HCM experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate consultative, solution-based sales conversations.
• Strong prospecting mindset with outbound activity.
• CRM software experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory.
• Sell a robust suite of solutions, including Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high velocity sales process with small and mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes).
• Own the full sales process—from discovery and solutioning to closing.
