Paychex is seeking a Mid-Market Sales professional to drive new business with small to mid-sized clients in a consultative, advisory role. You’ll build a pipeline, engage decision-makers, and close impactful deals, expanding Paychex Flex and HR offerings.

The role emphasizes strategic relationship-building, outbound prospecting, and owning the full sales cycle in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional sales experience in B2B environments.
• Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses.
• Ability to navigate consultative, solution-based sales conversations.
• Strong prospecting mindset and outbound sales skills.
• CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos in territory.
• Sell Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Lead consultative conversations with business owners and decision-makers.
• Manage a high-velocity sales process with 1-2 call closes.
• Own end-to-end sales process from discovery to close.
