Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Account Specialist to promote products to community practices and health systems across the U.S. You will build and maintain relationships with departments like neurology, pain medicine, rehab, primary care, and pharmacy.

Training residents and hospital staff on anatomical guidance and injection techniques will be a core part of the role. You will collaborate with other Account Specialists to deliver product education, drive adherence to the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of technical experience with 3+ years in sales preferred.
• HCIR credentialing requirements and related compliance are required.

Responsibilities

• Promote AbbVie products to meet/exceed sales goals across community practices and health systems.
• Identify customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and coordinate AbbVie resources.
• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows and hospital staff.
• Deliver anatomical and procedural information to train injection paradigms and tips.
• Leverage AbbVie data resources to drive product uptake within the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to train residents/fellows in hospital/health system accounts.
