Job summary

AbbVie’s Account Specialist role focuses on promoting products to community practices and health systems, building relationships across neurology, pain medicine, primary care, and hospital departments.

You will identify customer needs, provide education and training, and collaborate with AbbVie resources to exceed sales goals while navigating HCIR credentialing and travel requirements in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of technical experience with at least three years in sales preferred, plus a high school diploma/GED.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred.
• Ability to travel and lift 25–100 lb. training models and meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote a product to meet/exceed sales goals in community/private practices and hospitals/health systems.
• Identify customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address with AbbVie resources.
• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital personnel.
• Deliver anatomical/procedural information and training, including terminology for injection paradigms and considerations.
• Utilize AbbVie's sales and data resources to drive productivity and growth and implement the US Marketing Plan.
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications and training initiatives in hospital accounts.
