Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Security Major Account Sales Executive to drive growth by promoting services to Major Account customers in the Houston area. You will build trusted relationships and manage new business development, renewals, and customer satisfaction from first contact through post-installation follow-up.

The role requires a high school diploma (college degree a plus), 3+ years selling security to major accounts, strong executive communication, and willingness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• at least 3 years selling Commercial Security to major accounts.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior-level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• Nice to Have College degree.
• 5 years successful commercial sales representative in security, IT, or technology sales.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quota.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Create new market share by selling to new Major Account customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts and identify new opportunities for account growth.
• Renew existing customer agreements and manage resale opportunities within your territory.
• Identify prospects using creative lead-generation techniques and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Establish call plans and follow-up strategies while managing your time and territory effectively.
• Build referral networks and develop relationships with Centers of Influence.
• Process work orders and complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments were met and customer satisfaction remains strong.
