Job summary

Charter Communications seeks a Vertical Major Account Executive, Generalist to drive new business and nurture client partnerships across a defined territory in the United States. The role blends consultative sales with account management to deliver voice, data and video solutions for medium and large businesses.

You will build relationships, design compelling proposals, and self-generate leads while collaborating with the Account Management Team to ensure client retention and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultative sales or account management role.
• 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably in telecom B2B.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses with prospective clients to create customer-focused solutions
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and secure contract renewals
• Design and present sales proposals that address complex communication requirements of medium and large businesses
• Self-generate leads by reaching out to prospective clients via telephone, cold calls, visits, networking and industry events
• Qualify new leads, coordinate site surveys and submit ROI analyses to sales management
• Maintain accurate sales databases to report activity and customer information
• Collaborate with the Account Management Team and business services support groups to ensure seamless client handoff and retention
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your sales knowledge
