Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Vertical Major Account Executive to drive new business and nurture client partnerships, selling voice, data and video solutions within a defined territory. The role blends consultative sales and account management to grow Spectrum's footprint with medium and large businesses.

Expect a travel-based, office-supported position requiring strong relationship skills, a drive to close deals, and the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultative sales or account management role.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid and active State driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses with prospective clients to create customer-focused solutions.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and secure renewals.
• Design and present sales proposals addressing complex communication requirements for medium and large businesses.
• Self-generate leads by outbound calls, visits, networking and events.
• Qualify leads, coordinate site surveys and submit ROI analyses to sales management.
• Maintain accurate sales databases to report activity and customer information.
• Collaborate with Account Management and support teams for seamless handoff and retention.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to grow sales knowledge.
