Job summary

Charter Communications, operating under the Spectrum brand, seeks a Vertical Major Account Executive to drive new business and nurture client partnerships in a defined territory. You will blend consultative sales and account management to deliver voice, data and video solutions to medium and large businesses.

The role requires travel and office-based work with a focus on building relationships, proposing tailored solutions, and achieving revenue targets while expanding Spectrum's footprint

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably in telecom B2B
• Experience in a consultative sales or account management role
• Education as listed: high school diploma/GED; preferred bachelor's in business-related field

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses to create customer-focused solutions
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and secure renewals
• Design and present sales proposals addressing complex business requirements
• Self-generate leads via calls, visits, networking, and events
• Qualify leads, coordinate site surveys and ROI analyses
• Maintain accurate sales databases for activity reporting
• Collaborate with Account Management and support teams for seamless handoff and retention
• Participate in sales meetings and training to grow knowledge
