Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA is seeking a Benefits Partner – Leave Case Management to independently manage a caseload of team member leaves, from intake to closure. You will determine eligibility, coordinate return-to-work, maintain confidential records, and support benefits enrollment and inquiries across health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned caseload of leaves from intake to closure.
• Review leave requests for eligibility under policy and laws; issue approvals/denials.
• Administer continuous, intermittent, and reduced-schedule leaves; monitor duration and usage.
• Prepare state disability, short- and long-term disability forms; coordinate with carriers and providers.
• Maintain confidential case notes and digital records; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with Payroll, HR Partners, and leadership on leave-related matters.
• Assist with enrollment in benefits programs (health, retirement) and respond to inquiries.
• Serve as liaison with insurers, retirement plan providers, and vendors.
