Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA is seeking a Benefits Partner – Leave Case Management to independently manage leaves from inquiry to closure, ensuring eligibility under policy and law while coordinating with healthcare providers and team members.

The role also supports benefits enrollment, responds to inquiries, and collaborates with payroll, HR partners, and leadership to resolve leave-related matters while safeguarding confidential information in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned caseload of Team Member leaves from intake through closure.
• Review leave requests for eligibility under policy and applicable laws; issue determinations.
• Administer continuous, intermittent, and reduced-schedule leaves with tracking.
• Complete disability forms and coordinate with carriers/providers while protecting confidential information.
• Maintain case notes and electronic records; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Payroll, HR Partners, and leadership on leave-related matters.
• Assist with enrollment in benefit programs and respond to inquiries.
• Navigate TMSS for benefits-related transactions and maintain the benefits website.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and related provisions.
