Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer in California to drive new business growth by identifying and securing contracts for small-scale installation projects. The role blends sales expertise with industry knowledge to expand the client base and ensure long-term satisfaction.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, build strong client relationships with property managers and developers, and coordinate with estimating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience in related industries.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline for installation projects beyond the Maintenance book of business.
• Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value.
• Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers.
• Transition final installation to a long-term Maintenance Partner and serve as the primary contact during the sales cycle.
• Maintain CRM records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results.
