Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher company, seeks a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive IT portfolio governance and PMO excellence from a remote USA location. You will coordinate demand intake, prioritization, reporting, and governance with business stakeholders and project teams.

You will partner with IT and business leadership, ensuring data integrity, effective decision support, and continuous improvement of PMO practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, demand management, or related functions.
• Experience with IT portfolio governance, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes, including demand intake, prioritization, reviews, reporting and governance administration.
• Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility with dashboards, metrics, and analytics.
• Support PMO process adoption and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and governance.
• Develop and maintain PMO templates, artifacts, and knowledge assets for governance reviews.
• Provide guidance and training to project managers, resource managers, and teams on PMO processes and governance.
