Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive portfolio governance across IT, coordinating demand intake, prioritization, and reporting while partnering with leaders and project teams. This remote US role emphasizes data integrity and strategic alignment with business priorities.

The successful candidate will bring deep PMO/PPM experience, strong communication, and collaboration skills to support governance and continuous improvement across IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, demand management, or related functions.
• Experience preparing portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards, and executive presentations for IT organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes, including demand intake, prioritization, portfolio reviews, reporting, governance administration, and evaluation against priorities.
• Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility with dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics; facilitate discussions and decision-making.
• Support PMO process adoption and operational excellence through continuous improvement of processes, tools, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, governance artifacts, and knowledge repositories for governance reviews.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to project managers and resource managers on PMO processes and portfolio management.
