Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive IT portfolio management, governance, and PMO enablement from a remote location in the USA. You will collaborate with IT leadership, project managers, and resource managers to optimize demand intake, prioritization, and reporting.

The role demands business acumen, strong analytics, and exceptional communication to guide governance discussions and ensure data integrity across project repositories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, demand management, or related functions.
• Experience preparing portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve IT portfolio governance processes across the IT organization.
• Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility with reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytics.
• Support PMO process adoption and operational excellence through governance practices and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, governance artifacts, and project lifecycle documentation.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to project managers and teams on PMO processes and tools.
