Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive IT portfolio governance, reporting, and PMO excellence. The role collaborates with IT and business leaders to ensure data integrity and alignment with priorities.

The position is remote for candidates in the USA, with responsibilities across demand intake, prioritization, and governance artifacts. A strong business acumen and PMO/PPM experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, or related functions
• Experience supporting IT project/program delivery including portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills for governance
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot)

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes including demand intake, prioritization, reviews, reporting, governance administration
• Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility via reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytics
• Support PMO process adoption and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, operating procedures, governance practices, and stakeholder engagement
• Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, governance artifacts, and project lifecycle documentation
• Provide guidance and training to project managers, resource managers, and teams on PMO processes and governance requirements
