Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive IT portfolio governance and PMO excellence across the IT organization. The role coordinates demand intake, prioritization, portfolio reporting, and governance administration to align initiatives with business priorities.

You will partner with IT and business leaders, manage governance artifacts and dashboards, and mentor project teams on PMO practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, or related functions.
Experience preparing portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards, and executive presentations.
Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools to support portfolio management and governance.

Responsibilities

Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes, including demand intake, prioritization, and reporting.
Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility through dashboards and analytics.
Support PMO process adoption and continuous improvement of governance practices and templates.
Develop and maintain PMO tools, governance artifacts, and project lifecycle documentation.
Provide guidance and training to project managers and stakeholders on PMO processes and governance.
