Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking an Integrated Supply Account Specialist to drive sales and expand solutions within assigned integrated supply accounts. You will aim to meet or exceed goals in sales, gross margin, profitability, and value propositions through customer collaborations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of supply chain or distribution experience, strong product knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or related field with 3+ years' experience.
• Demonstrated product and sales knowledge.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, planning, organization, time management and problem solving.
• MS-Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Leads efforts to explore, solicit and obtain new sales opportunities within assigned integrated supply account.
• Builds rapport and collaborates with customer to understand needs and generate value around products, processes, and services.
• Drives cost savings commitments and ensures goals are captured in Vallen VPP and customer ERP systems.
• Designs and implements strategic sales plans to develop assigned accounts to meet/exceed obligations.
• Collaborates with Vendor/Supplier community to support solutions selling and transitions to franchised product offerings.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
