Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance-support training solutions that boost employee capabilities and productivity.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, business owners and stakeholders to create sound objectives, content and evaluation strategies, while adopting best practices in adult learning and instructional technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, or instructional design technology.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and developing e-learning and training materials.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite is required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and Storyline is required.
• Ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create learning content and testing for major training initiatives.
• Consult with subject matter experts and business owners to develop objectives and strategies.
• Design and develop learning project proposals.
• Ensure instructional design solutions align with objectives and deliver outcomes; communicate ideas effectively.
• Stay current on trends in learning methods and apply best practices in adult learning.
