Job summary

IXL Learning seeks a versatile Human Resources Business Partner & Generalist for our Raleigh, NC office. This full-time role balances strategic HR partnership with hands-on operations, advising sales leaders while maintaining daily HR activities in one of our largest offices.

The successful candidate will drive onboarding, performance reviews, employee relations, policy development, and compliance, partnering with executives and HR colleagues to support business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of combined HRBP and HR Generalist experience
• Bachelor's degree; HR coursework preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance and immigration
• Experience in employee relations, performance mgmt and policy development
• Proven project management skills and stakeholder influence
• Experience with HRIS systems; Workday a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales leaders to align HR strategy with growth and performance
• Serve as in-office contact for employee inquiries and policy guidance
• Design and deliver onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations programs
• Roll out corporate policies and initiatives to assigned team
• Collaborate on projects that support business goals
• Coach managers on performance, development and relations
• Develop and update personnel policies and the employee handbook
• Audit data and recommend continuous improvement measures
• Stay up-to-date on employment law and compliance
