Job summary

The Human Resources Business Partner at CAT will serve as a strategic partner to all business units, delivering practical HR counsel and support across the organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years related HR experience.
• Experience coaching management on employee relations.
• SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret varied instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Coach managers on performance management, discipline, terminations, rewards, and retention.
• Advise on complex employee relations issues.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
• Respond to inquiries about policies, procedures, and programs.
• Inform employees about benefits programs and leave policies.
• Partner with HR leadership to streamline processes and improve CX.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and compliance.
• Deliver training to ensure federal and local compliance.
• Support a variety of HR initiatives.
