Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a multi-location environment
• Clear written and verbal communication with all levels of personnel
• Ability to lead and manage projects
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and employment practices

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to design and implement short and long term HR strategies that support organizational objectives and simplify the customer experience
• Provide consultative HR support to managers and supervisors, including guidance on performance management, employee development and organizational change
• Ensure legal compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws including FLSA, FMLA and ADA Amendments Act
• Oversee employee relations by conducting investigations, managing escalated issues including ethics reports, and ensuring policies are administered consistently
• Oversee recruiting, staffing, onboarding and retention strategies while ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements
• Manage HR operations including payroll and commission processing, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers compensation claims, HRIS maintenance and communications
