Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, is seeking a Manager, Human Resources in Phoenix, AZ. You will partner with leadership to design HR strategies across recruitment, employee relations, and compliance to support business goals.

You will lead HR operations, guide managers on performance and development, oversee payroll, benefits, and HRIS, and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour laws, while developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior or related field.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a multi-location environment.
• Experience leading managers or teams (2+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures.
• Strong communication and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies across recruitment, employee relations and EEO.
• Provide consultative HR support to managers on performance management, development and organizational change.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA and other employment laws.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding and retention strategies with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements.
• Manage HR operations including payroll, benefits enrollment, unemployment and HRIS maintenance.
