Spectrum, a leading communications company, seeks a Manager of Human Resources to drive HR strategy across recruitment, relations, and equal opportunity. You’ll partner with leadership to implement initiatives that align with business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include consulting with managers on performance and development, ensuring legal compliance, supervising employee relations, and overseeing staffing, onboarding, and payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment.
• Experience with payroll, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers’ compensation.
• Strong communication and leadership across levels.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement short and long-term HR strategies with leadership to support objectives.
• Provide consultative HR support to managers on performance management and organizational change.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, ethics reports, and policy fairness.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, retention and compliance with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements.
• Manage HR operations including payroll, benefits, unemployment, workers' compensation, HRIS, and communications.
• Lead and develop direct reports, participate in labor negotiations, and manage departmental budget.
