Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES is seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across designated sites in the West Coast or Greater Chicago area. You will partner with leaders to implement people strategies, lead HR services, and drive engagement and capability building.

The role covers employee relations, performance management, talent development, data systems, and compliance. You will promote accountability, continuous improvement, and strong ethics in daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience across multi-site or client groups.
• Experience advising leaders on employee relations, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws; Canadian knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence, coach, and build relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency with HRIS and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnership with site leaders to execute people strategies.
• Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, investigations and discipline.
• Support leadership development, performance management and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for recruitment and onboarding.
• Lead programs that promote engagement, retention and culture of accountability.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment regulations.
