Job summary

Confidential is seeking a strategic, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across two manufacturing facilities in Michigan and Minnesota, supporting about 360 employees. You will partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, oversee payroll, benefits, compliance, and organizational development, and drive continuous improvement across sites.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years in HR, manufacturing experience, and the ability to lead HR functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Seven+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience leading HR across multiple facilities or locations.
• Broad knowledge of employee relations, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and organizational development.
• Strong understanding of employment law, compensation, workforce planning, and manufacturing operations.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and goals.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, organizational development, and retention initiatives.
• Support organizational change, restructuring, and expansion efforts.
• Establish HR policies, procedures, and best practices for consistency and compliance.
• Oversee recruiting for hourly, salaried, technical, and leadership roles across facilities.
• Manage payroll, benefits, HR reporting, and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop training and leadership development programs; monitor program effectiveness.
