Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field OR 6 years of related and progressive experience
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to analyze and interpret various types of data including financial results, operational metrics, clinical outcomes, and other key datasets
• Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data and illuminate the higher-level strategic insights
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop partnerships across the organization
• Self-starter who takes initiative and drives progress with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and/or profitability to explain financial results
• Performs ad-hoc analyses on topics dictated by business trends or leadership requests
• Analyzes variances relative to budget, forecast, prior year, or benchmarks
• Supplements financial analysis with operational/clinical data for context
• Utilizes rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of changes in patient mix or payor mix
• Creates and presents executive summaries of major analytical projects with key findings and takeaways
• Other duties as assigned or requested
