Job summary

Paychex is hiring for a revenue-growth focused role within its Companions unit. The position involves presenting services to potential clients and identifying profitable solutions, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and driving sales growth.

You will lead at trade shows and coordinate with marketing to target markets, ensuring timely, accurate completion of credit approvals and client onboarding.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma is required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Some travel is required — 40% of the time.
• Customer-focused, proactive, motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Present services and solutions to potential new clients, identify appropriate services, follow up for potential and timing, participate in structuring funding and service packages, negotiate and close on sales.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and promote additional or new products, follow up, negotiate and close on sales.
• Attend and lead sales efforts at trade shows.
• Provide high level of ongoing customer service.
• Partner with other departments to ensure best possible implementation and service for clients.
• Collaborate with marketing to identify markets and maximize efforts.
• Meet sales goals in numbers and dollar volume.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Complete basic analysis for potential clients and support established approval and setup procedures.
• Successful completion of credit approvals on accounts.
• Complete tasks timely and in an organized, effective, and positive manner.
