Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Business Development Coordinator Intern to support the Fleet Card team in turning interest into active, paying customers. You will track applications, enrollments, and follow-ups while coordinating outreach and materials across sales channels and partners.

The role emphasizes analytics, accuracy, and collaboration within a hybrid work environment. You will gain exposure to CRM usage, prospect research, and reporting while contributing to the rollout of a new product line.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in sales operations, business development, or project coordination is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation are essential.
• Excellent proofreading and written communication abilities.
• Technical competence with Google Workspace and Excel; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move opportunities from first interest to completed applications and first transactions.
• Track Fleet Card applications and enrollments and follow up with applicants.
• Maintain Salesforce records and accurate opportunity tracker across enterprise, government, and reseller channels.
• Research and build prospect lists by segment, size, and fuel-spend profile.
• Prepare outreach drafts, invitations, and follow-up sequences for team review.
• Coordinate sales, training and enablement materials for stakeholders and partners.
• Build weekly reports on applications, activations, credit lines and pipeline.
