Job summary

ARCO, a premier design-build general contractor with over 30 years of nationwide experience, is looking for a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients from our Bellevue, WA office. You will identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate opportunities and expand ARCO's footprint.

Travel up to 40% and lead the sales plan execution while collaborating with marketing, PM, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of new business development experience.
• Preference for cold-calling experience.
• Preference for direct sales in light industrial/manufacturing, commercial, food & beverage, or cold storage.
• Preference for design-build experience.
• Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand ARCO's footprint and establish top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO's marketing, project management, and operations management teams
