Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company seeks a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationally and to sit on-site in our Bellevue, WA office. You will build strategic relationships, develop the sales plan, and expand ARCO's footprint across markets, with travel up to 40%.

The role requires 5–10 years of BD experience, strong sales acumen, and proficiency with CRM tools, offering a competitive base salary and performance-based bonus in a dynamic design-build environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of new business development experience.
• Highly prefer business development experience via cold calling.
• Highly prefer direct sales experience in light industrial/manufacturing, commercial, food & beverage, or cold storage.
• Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO's footprint and establish top of mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas.
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO's marketing, project management, and operations management teams.
• Travel as needed, up to 40%.
