Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional to maximize revenue with designated account packages, including military bases, and to grow sales across existing and new accounts.

You will be in the field four to five days a week in the Waco region, aligning with Grainger's value proposition and pricing guidelines. The role requires 3+ years of outside sales or military experience in supply chain or inventory management, plus strong forecasting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct outside sales experience or military experience in supply chain, inventory management or similar.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and articulate business drivers.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing customer needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and resources to respond to developments in the customer's business.
• Support managed inventory tasks to increase sales within assigned customer accounts.
• Explain Grainger's Value Proposition and provide solutions to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account strategies including regular business reviews for military customers.
