Job summary

Grainger in Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced outside salesperson to maximize revenue within existing military accounts and develop new ones. You will align with Grainger's value proposition and lead account strategies to drive profitable sales.

The role requires field presence four to five days per week, solid sales forecasting, and strong customer planning abilities to meet annual targets and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Direct outside sales experience or military background is required.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting and customer planning is preferred.
• Excellent communication and field-coverage skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing needs to keep operations running.
• Demonstrate market knowledge and respond quickly to developments in the customer's business.
• Support managed inventory tasks to increase sales within assigned accounts (Air Force bases).
• Explain Grainger's value proposition and provide solutions to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account strategies and conduct regular business reviews with military customers.
