Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a seasoned Global Account Manager to serve as the single point of contact for large, multi-location customers. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with top management, achieving sales quotas, and driving long-term account objectives.

The position entails leading strategic account planning, executing solution-based selling, and coordinating Arrow resources to meet client needs. Travel up to 30% is required, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience including, but not limited to building influential customer relationships.
• Experience with Aerospace and Defense customers strongly preferred.
• Experience working with distribution in complex major accounts.
• Hunter mentality.
• Proficiency with data, SFDC, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent presentation skills are a must.
• P&L experience preferred.
• This position is a 70/30 split—the posted number includes the commission.
• Must be able to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Creates selling opportunities within assigned critical, large, multi-location, complex Arrow customers through a strategic sales plan and process.
• Leads strategic account planning with mutual objectives, financial targets, and milestones.
• Executes solutions selling leveraging Arrow’s supply chain and design processes.
• Grows profit and maximizes margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions.
• Coordinates involvement of Arrow personnel to meet objectives and expectations.
• Typically manages a territory of accounts up to $125 million.
