Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a high-impact Key Account Executive to serve as the single point of contact for large, complex customers. You will drive sales through strategic relationships with senior decision-makers and execute value-added, long-term supply chain solutions.

You will manage RFQs, negotiate significant contracts, and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth renewals. A hunter mentality and strong data/AP tools like SFDC, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of key account management or general sales management experience in the electronic distribution industry.
• Ability to build influential relationships with customers.
• Experience working with distribution and complex major accounts.
• Hunter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Quotations and contract negotiations: plan, manage, and oversee all the RFQ’s signed off within their assigned customers.
• Ensure RFQ activities and strategies are established, communicated, addressed, and agreed upon within Arrow guidelines.
• Directly participate in the review and negotiation of significant contracts.
• Assist in reviewing customer requests to amendments to terms and conditions in contracts.
• Ensure all Arrow and customer departments have the necessary information for renewal/negotiation.
• Understand Arrow’s market share and top competitors in the territory; identify business types supported by competitors.
• Maintain and grow share within each assigned account.
• Develop innovative supplier and customer action plans and understand the customer’s business at all levels.
• Develop strategic relationships with high-level organizational personnel.
• Leverage supplier knowledge to grow sales and profits in the territory and coordinate with reps and managers.
• Develop relationships with key personnel in marketing, product development, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
• Lead functional teams and projects and act as a best-practice resource.
